Review of the book 'Wellness with Acupressure and Colours'

Amarjit Singh Narula, Author
The book "Wellness with Acupressure and Colours" is a guide for the common man for healthcare-- simple, useful and  comprehensive. "Your guide to a healthy way of life", as the author puts it.

It describes detailed treatment through acupressure application of colours, other alternative healing methods, and systems. Many people may not be even aware of these  alternatives or the medicinal quality of colours. "Wellness with Acupressure and Colours" elaborates detailed information about those.

The book addresses not only physical ailments but also psychological ones, making it all the more useful.

The remedies offered by the authors Amarjit Singh Narula and Shilpa Khedekar are  based on their experience. They are affordable. Something welcome as healthcare has become costly and almost beyond the reach of even the middle and upper middle classes, let alone the poor.
They can be prepared at home with  easily available  ordinary     ingredients.

They cover almost the entire gamut of ailments to which people are exposed these days of fast life, tense and stressful. To name just  a few: Fatigue, allergy, cough and cold, asthama, breathing problems,  memory reduction,  impotency, anger,  anxiety and stress,  depression,  problems related to women, skeletal issues, diabetes,  diaarrhea.

What is particularly noteworthy is that the authors have no prejudices or pre-conceived notions about any systems of medicine. What they recommend are only complementary and not competitive. In fact they suggest that people should continue the treatment under other systems of medicine if they are taking it.
And also to consult their doctors.

The book contains detailed case studies and diagrams.

The cause for offering the book is laudable indeed. The book records that it is for charity.

One wonders if this will not take away from the book's utility and will not put off the readers.
