Tiruvadanai Shrine F our decades ago, on a hot summer day, I  happened to be in Tiruvadanai, Ramanathapuram District, Tamilnadu. It was soon after I got through my graduation in civil engineering. Tiruvadanai has been the destination earmarked for my stay of at least one year, to start off my career as overseer (professional title for civil engineers during those days). To my case it resembled an auspicious attempt of a squirrel trying to quench the thirst of a religious cause.
