They're the ones who really understand, that creativity will be in full bloom only where there is no pestering.

Here are the artists who are least bothered about what they get, but think about what they can give through their ultimate performance level, which will richly contribute to the Malayalam movie 'The Guest': 

Shine Tom Chacko:


He is the assistant director turned lead actor of Malayalam cinema. When Kamal (present Chairman of the Kerala State Film Academy) has been a top director, Shine got the opportunity to approach him and impress upon him about his imagination skills. The approach gifted him the position as Kamal's assistant director for 9-years. 

After that he began his acting career, and his first film Khaddama received a wide ranging applause. His roles after that in films like Ee Adutha Kaalathu, Chapters, Annayum Rasoolum and Masala Republic brought him status which is never easy to match, for stars performing in any Indian language.

Rohini:

She is not just a seasoned actress, but a screenplay writer, director, and voice-over artist too. She is mostly seen in Telugu films, though her thought provoking roles are memorable in Malayalam, Tamil films too. 

She appeared as a child artist in the duration from 1975-1982 in various Telugu and Tamil films, of which Mayor Meenakshi, Sumai, Bhakta Kannappa, Secretary, Adavi Ramudu, Maavari Manchitanam and Madhura Swapnam are valued high.

After that she took a lot of interest to provide her voice to Manisha Koirala, Jyothika and Aishwarya Rai. In 1990, she debuted as lead actress opposite Amir Khan in Hindi film Jawani Zindabad. Her significant roles were witnessed in films Nyayam Kavali, Adavi Ramudu, Gentleman and Bahubali

Her directorial venture, Tamil film Appavin Meesai attracted an enormous debate and enabled her to bag the Kalaimamani Award. For her natural acting in the film Stree, she won the National Award too.

Samyuktha Menon: 


Samyukta Menon, Heroine
She began her career as a Malayalam actress in 2016, with an important role in Popcorn. Her acting ability relegated the cine buffs to be dumbstruck in that film.

She never turned back and recently appeared alongside Tovino Thomas in Theevandi (2018). Her roles became memorable in the movies Lilli and Ezhumin. His Her other highly talked about movies are July Kaatril, Oru Yamandan Prema Kadha, and Uyire.




Joy Mathew:

From a theatre background, he stormed in to Malayalam cineme in 1986 with a major role in Amma Ariyan, which is a much talked about movie even today. Another film of his entitled Shutter caused flutters in 2013, and was reproduced in six other languages.

Movies namely Annayum Rasoolum, Amen, Philips and the Monkey Pen, and 1983 catapulted him to the top ranks. Other ventures prominently known for his true to life characters are Vikramadithyan, Njaan, Charlie, and Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol, Melle, Onpatham Valavinappuram, Street Lights, Uncle, and Chalakkudikkaran Changathi.

Dileesh Pothan:

With an entry in to the glamour world as an assistant director under the creative king Aashiq Abu of the movie 9 KK Road, his career in Malayalam cinema has always been promising. 

He became an independent film director of the movie Maheshinte Prathikaaram, which was highly recognized and won three awards - Best Feature Film in Malayalam, Best Director, and the Best South Face Filmfare award - in the 64th National Film Festival. Consecutively, even his second directorial venture Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum won the Best Feature Film in Malayalam Award in the 65th National Film Festival.

Dileesh Pothan became well known in acting front through movies Sidharthan Enna Njan, Lonappante Mammodisa, Neeyum Njanum, Ente Ummante Peru, and Oru Yamandan Prema Kadha. He even produced a popular film entitled Kumbalangi Nights.

Aju Varghese:

As a debutant in 2010 in the super hit film 'Malarvadi Arts Club' he carved a permanent place for himself as an actor, in the Malayalam film industry. 

With his acting as standpoint, Thattathin Marayathu (2012) and Oru Vadakkan Selfie (2015) became the blockbuster movies. 

His roles in Kili Poyi, Zachariyayude Garbhinikal, Ohm Shanthi Oshaana, Punyalan Agarbattis, Vellimoonga , Ormayundo Ee Mukham and Kunjiramayanam are certain to be remembered for a long long time.

Dr J K Nair

Known for his high profile as Educator, International Ace Motivator, Founder of Vital Training (a training institution of repute), and a much sought after speaker, Dr. J K Nair, has not too long ago provided testimony to his acting prowess.

His role as a villain in Malayalam Film 'Ayal Njanalla' was so effective, it leaves an indelible memory in the minds of movie lovers for ever.

Genre of the story:

It’s a Family Thriller. Happens during the present time. Bears so far unexpected twists, with suspense gluing viewer to the edge of the seat throughout its
2-hours running time.

Why this movie?

An untold story attracting viewers towards its elements like horror, suspense, thrills and family emotions (between a father and daughter). It is the question of survival for a mother and daughter in a critical situation, as an intruder whose intention is unknown, barges in to their house. Totally a female oriented mass thriller subject. This is the right time for such a movie, with the so far unfamiliar thriller content. End of the movie is just its beginning! Audience remain anxious to watch its sequel at the earliest!!! It will be a trend setter in South Indian film industry.

About the makers:


The film is Written and Directed By Mahesh & Sukesh, two young engineering graduates, very passionate in film making.  Nothing will be compromised for film quality. They earlier produced a Horror Short Film “CHITHRAKOODU” which is the recipient of many awards and has been nominated to be screened during several international festivals. They are best known for their creativity in the film industry as a whole. They are serving as Assistant Directors of major Malayalam movies since last two years.
